Formerly the Frontman for Canadian Recording Artists Sins of Omission, .50 (Point Five Oh) and Ministry of Zen, Doug Robb has made a name for himself across Canada. With a 4 1/2 Octave vocal range his powerful voice has been compared to Steve Perry (Journey), Sammy Hagar (Van Halen) and Bobby Kimball (Toto). With 4 successful cross-Canada Tours in support of Commercial Radio releases of I Reign (2006), Fade Away (2006), Forever and a Day (2008), Another Ride (2010), Lift (2010), Anthem (2011) and 3 appearances at the INIC Showcase during Canadian Music Week (2009, 2010, 2012), Sins of Omission and Ministry of Zen were buzz bands with plenty of momentum. They earned direct support slots for household names like Our Lady Peace, I Mother Earth, David Wilcox, Helix, and Edwin & The Pressure.
Since then, Doug has fronted numerous other projects (Cover & Tribute) and is currently the frontman for Edmonton’s Premier Cover Band Powerhouse as well as Cam Macleod’s White Wolf (original). Direct support slots with Artists such as Honeymoon Suite, Darby Mills Project, Rick Emmett (Triumph), Lee Aaron, and Alannah Myles, have continued to showcase Doug among Canada’s premier vocalists.
Music and singing is in Doug’s blood and now he is excited to be continuing his musical journey as a Singer/Songwriter, performing his original songs and various cover songs acoustically. Doug’s voice will not only capture the audience’s attention but also hold it as they anticipate his soaring vocals and interactive show.
